Continually Scheduled Classes:

Open/Beginning Sewing with LaVon:  LaVon offers this class on most Thursday evenings from 5-7pm and Saturday mornings from 7:30-9:30am.  This is an ongoing opportunity to learn all types of sewing at your own pace and schedule.  LaVon is versed in all types of sewing - garment, quilting, crafting, home dec, alterations, and more............  She requires 24 hour notice that you are attending class.  Class is only scheduled if students are registered.

Machine Owner Basics:  If you have purchased a sewing machine, embroidery machine or serger from SewTech, we are currently scheduling one-on-one classes.  Contact us direct for these classes.  We will schedule an appointment to meet your needs (within the store hours).  If you didn't purchase from SewTech, then call and get pricing for classes.

Embroidery Software Basics:   If you have purchased embroidery software from SewTech and would like a little help, then call and schedule a time to work on those questions.  Again, if you didn't purchase from SewTech, call and get pricing for classes.

Private Party Classes

Have a group of people that would like to take a special class together?  Maybe a birthday party, baby shower or girls day out?  Then contact Lisa C. and schedule that special event.

Class Policies and Etiquette

First, all classes must be registered and paid for at least one week before the class date.  To receive a refund, student must cancel 7 days (one week) before the class date.  If class cancelled by teacher or because not enough registrants, then full refund is available.

Second, please leave all strong scents at home.  Refrain from perfumes, lotions and deodorants that might irritate allergies.  (Thanks immensely!)

Third, if attending an all day class, please feel free to pull up to front parking and unload supplies.  We then ask that you park in outer spaces and refrain from parking in front of the bookstore.  (We like to keep our neighbor happy!)
